This is a carbon fiber boom kit for the E-flight Blade CP, CP+ and CP Pro including two carbon fiber tail booms, and a fin set. Made and designed by BoomTownHobbies. These carbon fiber booms are a direct replacement for the factory boom. However they are a true pultruded carbon fiber that is not only stronger than the factory boom but they have less flex. Even though these booms are stronger they can break. We include a spare boom with this kit as a bonus. This kit comes with two fins. A horizontal fin and a Vertical Fin. These fins have two purposes. The vertical fin replaces the factory kick stand. This fin is custom made in length just for the CP and will hold the tail off the ground better than the factory kick stand. The factory kick stand is almost impossible for take offs on anything but perfectly flat surfaces. This fin was specifically made to help with that problem. The other purpose for the fins is for tail tracking. These fins help by making it easy to see what direction the tail is facing. One of the problems with the CP and CP pro is the flex of the stock tail boom. Have you stopped during a fast tail spin and lost control for a moment? Most likely you were feeling the effects of the tail flexing after the quit stop of the rotation. The new carbon fiber we use is not as flexible which helps keep the tail straight. While these added beneifits are minimal they do help. You might not notice on your first flight but given time you will appreciate the improvements.
