DN-Power 900mAH CX2 Battery Pack |

I bought two for my CX2 about 2 years ago. One still works the other one swelled up and quit after about 16 months. The battery was charged maybe 15 or 20 times. Worked well until it swelled up. Seems to be rather sorry service life.
(Note from BoomTownHobbies, over discharging batteries or leaving batteries fully charged for extended periods will cause Li-Po batteries to die or swell. This will happen on a $16 dollar battery for a CX2 and it will also happen on a $300 battery for a Trex 600. 2 years service life for an inexpensive battery is exceptional in our opinion. )

Not sure if this is made by the same company, but the Tenergy battery has waaaaay more power!!! My DN Power pack has started to swell as well and I got it after the Tenergy pack. Not worth it.

This is just a better battery! |

While the specs are not much different from the stock CX2 lipo, you WILL notice an improvement in both power and endurance with this battery. And if you ever get frustrated trying to wedge the stock CX2 battery into its little hole, this battery will solve that problem forever. It's just a millimeter or so smaller on all sides and the profile is much more uniform than the somewhat "lumpy" stock battery. It just SLIDES RIGHT IN!! Make sure you use the supplied Velcro tab, or it will also slide right back out in flight (experience talking there)!
While you CAN charge this with the stock CX2 charger, I got MUCH better results when I bought an EFlite EFLC505. If you're thinking of trading up to a bigger heli in the future like a T-Rex, a serious charger is worth the investment and will start paying off right here.
BoomTown got the batteries to me from OR to MO in two days!
This is just a better battery. Try it.

good or better as the factory Eflite battery |

The DN Power 900mAH battery is as good or better as the factory Eflite battery but a fraction of the cost. Indoors I get approximately 10 minutes of flight time flying sensible. I have notice that one of my batteries has lost half of its power in the last few days. I blame my factory charger. I just ordered the DN G2 charger so look for my review for it in the next few weeks.
